Sisterland Sierra Leone is a registered NGO formed in Freetown Sierra Leone to manage The Sisterland Project to help women who are sleeping on the streets with their children. Sisterland UK Ltd is a long established (2004) registered charity based in UK that has been instrumental in helping to set up The Sisterland Project. Sisterland UK Ltd controls funding and receives regular updates.

"I was brought up in a home for war abandoned children. Living as part of a big family was quite a challenge. My experiences led me to have a passion for helping the less fortunate. I have project managed many humanitarian projects. Food security, child care, water borehole, homeless mums.
I love to sing at church. I have a lovely little girl called Alexandra.
I personally know many of the women who are suffering on the streets of Freetown to whom SISTERLAND will be a Godsend"
Fudia is a friendly and caring. She is aged 38 and lives with her daughter. She is a real peoples person and loves cooking. She studied catering at YWCA. Always the first to volunteer to help she is happy to be MUM and Grandma for the Mums and children.
Kadie looks after financial management and reporting to UK. She supervisies records and payments. Kadie is married with two young children. She gained a diploma in Office Management and has had training in Home Management. Kadie is a praise and worship leader at her church and her Christian faith is at the centre of her life. She likes working with children.
Marketing and PR
Lives with her parents and siblings. Studied Peace and Conflict and has a BA Degree. Fatmata is proud to be a feminist and has been a leading advocate for girls education.
Fatmata is co-ordinator for Western Area Youth Advisory Panel. She likes reading and music and going out with friends.
Gladys looks after all the many policies and procedures and reportings that have to be followed Lives with her Mum and Dad and siblings. Received a diploma in Hardware and Networking Engineering from LICCSAL Business College. Has project managed a 15 year abandoned childrens support project for Sisterland UK. Enjoys working with young people. Volunteer at Youth for Christ Sierra Leone. Loves music and singing.
